Ear Wash Only!! Jun 11, 2010 I bought this one because my puppy has ear mites. I thought it could kill the mites by sanatizing the ear. unfortunately, it doesnt kill mites. But still, as it promised, it cleans the ear pretty well. from inside to outside, very good! of cuz your puppy not gonna like it when liquid goes into its ears. But that's what you have to do. Dirty ears could cause a lot of health problem. So clean your puppy's ears every once a while is essential.
It doesn't have any direction about how often to use it nor what amount you should use for each ear. Personally, I pour some into the cap and use syringe to allow the liquid goes into inner part of the ear. if you use the the cap to pour into the ear directly only waste it. because puppies are pretty sensitive to their ears, just a small amount of water they feel they shake their heads immediately no matter how firm you hold them. therefore, you need a small 5 ml syringe.
on the other hand, don't expect the puppy will shake his head for only 5--10 mins after you apply this product nor expect their ears will become very clean right after you use it. it takes time, i will say, like a day or 2. So don't be anxious if you see your puppy keeps shaking his head even after 3 hours. But i'm sure you will see the clear result the next morning.
when to use it? I think whenever you find your puppy's ear dirty. maybe 2 wks, maybe a month, it all depends. of course don't do it too often, like every 2-3 days. though it's a herbal product, there's no medicine has zero side effects. how much to use it? I recommend one cap per ear. it still depends on what breed your puppy is. bigger ears def. need more amount, like labs.

Keeps ears clean & kills ear mites! Apr 06, 2010 This works great, I used it on my cat who has allergies and it makes her ears look as if it were ear mites. It works great to soothe and keep her ears clean for days (normally she requires daily cleaning). I used this on 4 week old kittens that had ear mites and fleas and it worked great to get rid of the mites.
Keeps Ears Clean Nov 14, 2009 we have a lab and had a golden retriever that always got ear infections. this stops it better than anything the vet gave us. it smells clean. excellent product!
Ear Wash Jan 27, 2008 I have a Portuguese Water Dog/Standard Poodle mix with floppy ears, and he is constantly struggling with hair and debris irritating his ears. This ear wash has really cut down the discomfort and rate of infection; he seems so much more comfortable since we have been using it.
